NAM KIM UPDATED EXPORT BUSINESS ACTIVITY REVIEW

Looking back in eleven month in 2015, the export volume of Nam Kim Steel had been increasing strongly and recorded at 350,000MTs/year level. The Nam Kim brand has been acknowledged and approved by verified organization such as SNI (Certificate of standards for export to Indonesia), SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia), also adapted equivalent to high quality standard likes: ASTM (Applied for American market); JIS (Applied for ASIA market); AS 1397 (applied for Oceania market) & DIN standard (applied for EU market) and ASTM A653 & A792 for America market. It was a result of the non-stop striving, appreciated achievement to all of Nam Kim members included the Board of management and staffs, especially to export division.

In this 2016, the target of export volume will be reached the level of 500,000 MTs/year.  It is a realistic goal to be accompanied together with our Mill development and expansion strategy. The coated steel production capacity has been added to 1,000,000 MTs/year by the new cold rolling mill and switchable aluzinc/galvanized line equipped Europe modern technology in Q2 this year. The goal has been set means require several main tasks must be done completely in high efficiency result.
Beside the task to strengthen and maintain the competitive position in the regular markets, Nam Kim brand will plan to promote in new markets likes Europe, Africa and Latin American.. etc.
However, the core of sustainable development is to improve the product quality and maintain the competitive pricing policy, also providing the satisfactory customer service.
Seeing in the near future, the additional no. 3rd factory will help Nam Kim Steel brand become more popular in export coated steel map coverage.
